Erik Martin was born in Coeur d’alene Idaho. After serving in the Air Force, he became a Life Teen missionary where he discovered a love for foreign missions on a short-term mission trip with Family Missions Company to Mexico. Several years later, he met his wife, Bridget, at a women’s retreat. Shortly after getting married, they joined Family Missions Company in 2013 with their children. Erik currently serves as Formation Manager for Family Missions Company.

Phillip Douglas is a foreign missionary with Family Missions Company. He, his wife, and their 7 children are currently serving among the unreached in Asia. He is also the author of Glorious Adventure: Discovering the Treasure of Taking Christ to the Nations and Finding the Father: Reflections of Grace and Mercy in Fatherhood.

BEV FIRMIN | Co-Director of the Alleluia School of Spiritual Direction
Beverly Firmin, is a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Augusta Georgia. She is wife of 41 years to Michael and mother of 9 children and grandmother to 11. Beverly received a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and her master’s in social work at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years’ experience in counseling and therapy. She is currently an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina School of Social Work, working with the formation of social work students in their field Placements. She received her certificate in spiritual direction from Our Lady of Divine Providence School of Spirituality in Clearwater, Florida. She has experience in spiritual direction and faith formation. She has been a member of the Alleluia Christian Community, an ecumenical covenant community, for 34 years and has been involved in teaching and mentoring women over these years.

Joseph Anthony, was born into a missionary family and grew up around the world serving as a missionary. He is now the proud dad of 6 boys, and grateful husband to his amazing wife of 10 years. Joseph and his family are full-time missionaries and are preparing to move to Asia to minister the Gospel where the vast majority of the population has yet to be introduced to Jesus Christ for the first time!

JOHN LISTI | Lay Evangelist
John Listi was born and raised in Abbeville, LA where he grew up in a Catholic Charismatic community. He attended Mt. Carmel Elementary and Vermilion Catholic High School before moving to Baton Rouge, LA for undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University. While at LSU, John fell in love with serving the Lord through campus ministry. Over the last 25 years John has served as a parish youth minister, high school campus minister, young adult coordinator, mission trip leader, and ministry director for various diocesan ministries and retreats. John currently works as the Director of Parish Renewal and Evangelization for St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in his hometown of Abbeville, and serves as the director for the Office for Catholic Charismatic Renewal for the Diocese of Lafayette, Louisiana. John has been married for 19 years to His beautiful bride Carrie Leigh. Together they have 5 amazing children, Joshua Dominic, Abigail Elizabeth, Olivia Michelle, Emily-Claire Noelle and John-David “Trooper.” John’s passion for the Lord Jesus and love for the Church compel him to strive to live fully into the purpose God has for him through the power of the Holy Spirit, and to inspire others to do the same.

FR. LOUIS MEROSNE | Missionary Priest in Haiti
Fr. Louis Merosne, was born in Haiti and moved to the United States in 1993. After completing his theological studies at the Franciscan University of Steubenville (BA and MA), he returned to Boston in order to work to help pay off his students loans. In 2011, Father Louis was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Anse-à-Veau and Miragoâne! Father continues to preach the Gospel and to serve the poor in Haiti and abroad. Currently, he is the pastor of the Cathedral of Saint Anne in his diocese, where he serves in different capacities. He founded Mission to The Beloved, a US not-for-profit organization with the mission of preaching the Gospel and serving the poor especially in Haiti. John-Paul has been a missionary with Family Missions Company since 2008 and currently serves as the Director of Missions. Having experienced the boundless and transformative love of Jesus Christ as a teenager at a Life Teen summer camp, John-Paul’s life changed dramatically and forever for the good, and he dedicated himself to introducing others to this powerful and salvific love. He and his wife, Sheila, met through their work with FMC and married in 2010. Together they have four children, and two in heaven. They have served long-term as missionaries in Spain, Mexico, and India, and have made missionary visits to many other countries across the world.

LINDSEY ROMERO | Member Care Facilitator for Family Missions Company
Lindsey Romero, is passionate about the Great Commission and about the people who are living it out around the world! She is a homeschooling mom of six who also serves as a member care facilitator with Family Missions Company, equipping missionaries to serve well and coming alongside them as they navigate the many challenges of cross-cultural living. After their own life-changing encounter with the Gospel, Lindsey, her husband, Sammy, and their children served as FMC missionaries to the Philippines for six years, sharing with others the Good News that they had received and witnessing the Gospel transform the lives of the poor. Lindsey is convinced that missionary activity is what will renew the Church in our time.

Chris Benzinger, works with pastors and their leadership team to help create cultures of disciple-making in parishes, ministries and local communities. Chris and his wife Michelle have spent their entire marriage forming disciple-makers of Jesus Christ through foreign missions in Europe and Mexico, through forming and leading Life Teen Missions, and most recently through Greenhouse Collective. This new initiative is focused on the everyday missionary. Greenhouse Collective is committed to creating safe and nurturing environments for people to live a full, Catholic life on mission with Jesus Christ right where they are. Chris and Michelle's mission begins at home in Pensacola with their six children.

Sarah Granger is the Executive Director of Family Missions Company, serving in that position with her husband Kevin. Sarah has seven children, and has served as a Catholic lay missionary most of her life. She is the daughter of Frank and Genie Summers, founders of FMC, and has lived as a missionary in the United States, Mexico, Columbia, New Zealand, Australia, the Philippines, Peru, and Spain. She is passionate about Jesus, and has a heart for discipleship, evangelization and service to the poorest of the poor.

Sheila has been a missionary with Family Missions Company since 2005 and currently serves as a Missions Director with her husband John-Paul. She studied for four years at Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Theology. She and her husband, John-Paul, met through their work with FMC and married in 2010. Together they have four children, and two in heaven. They have served long-term as missionaries in Spain, Mexico, and India, and have made missionary visits to many other countries across the world.

KEVIN GRANGER | Executive Director of Family Missions Company
Kevin Granger, has been a missionary with Family Missions Company for over ten years. Currently, he and his wife Sarah are serving as Executive Directors, and live in Abbeville, Louisiana, where the organization is based. An RN, Kevin has also worked extensively as a nurse in inpatient Oncology. He is passionate about Christ, his family, and also making music.
