Amanda Gutierrez
Amanda, originally from Long Island, NY, heard about FMC when the Newman Club on her college campus was promoting a mission trip to General Cepeda with FMC. She had an amazing reversion on that trip and eventually felt the call to become a missionary after graduating college. Amanda was a part of Intake 2017 and spent most of her two years serving in Haiti. When she took a season of rest in 2020, the Lord gave her a desire to serve and care for the missionary children of FMC. In January of 2021, Amanda became the Missionary Kid Care Facilitator. Her job is to support families as they face transitions and challenges associated with missions, primarily by offering support to parents, as well as facilitating opportunities for support and fellowship. She currently lives in Central California with her husband, Armando (Intake Class of 2018), and their daughter, Gloria.
