Colleen
Colleen hails from small town in Wisconsin where she grew up with an incredible family. After doing mission work with youth in the U.S., she attended college at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Upon graduation, Colleen moved to New York City and started to realize a call to missions.
Ever since Colleen was young she wanted to live internationally and serve. As her relationship with Christ grew, her desire was to not only serve but to be poor and tell others of the freedom and life she found in Jesus. Colleen loved her community and life in NYC, but felt a stronger pull on her heart to go deeper with the Lord and give everything for serving Him in the developing world.
While on a mission trip with FMC in Asia, the Lord showed Colleen her desires and allowed her to experience them first-hand. She felt her heart and soul come alive in proclaiming the name of Christ and in living with and serving the poor. Colleen’s desires were solidified when she visited Big Woods and experienced an FMC Come-and-See retreat in Louisiana. She is excited to join Intake in September 2018 and see where the Lord will send her. Please pray for her in this new adventure!
