Emily Browne
Emily is from Melbourne, Florida, where she grew up in a family of 8. She was blessed to have a family deeply rooted in Catholicism who instilled a love of Christ in her from an early age.
Emily studied Health Sciences at the University of South Florida. After graduating from USF, Emily worked in the medical field throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, during which she was able to grow in her love of service for the sick and vulnerable.
Emily first experienced foreign missions at 18 years old when she went on a 2-week mission trip to Kolkata, India with Family Missions Company. This trip ignited a fierce love for the poor and for missions in her heart, which brought her back to FMC to become a full-time missionary 5 years later. She is beyond grateful to those who have supported her in prayer and love throughout her discernment process and journey towards missions.
“There is no place for selfishness and no place for fear! Do not be afraid, then, when love makes demands. Do not be afraid when love requires sacrifice” –Saint John Paul II
