I am the youngest of four from the small town of Ville Platte, Louisiana. I grew up in a largely Catholic environment but never truly had a personal relationship with God or knew what it really meant until my early teenage years when I attended a Steubenville South retreat. It was during Adoration on the last night that I felt the Lord’s love for me and it was like He started a fire in my soul that I’ve tried my best to keep alive since that night.
Towards the end of high school, I actually felt a call towards missions but I decided to wait because I wasn’t confident enough to pursue it. For the past few years, I’ve had several different jobs in search of what I should do in life. I’ve also attended a couple of mission trips to Alaska and Honduras. It was on the most recent mission trip that God affirmed the call to missions that I kept in the back of my mind for years. I am excited with hope to now take that leap of faith, trust in God, and see where this adventure will lead me in His name.
