I grew up in Andover, MN with 11 siblings. My call to missions started in 9th grade when I participated in a retreat that was run by NET Ministries. The people there were such a witness that I had decided to be just like them. I homeschooled my whole life and didn’t have a career that I wanted to pursue. Joining NET was the only goal I had set for life. After I graduated high school, I tried for two years to get accepted. When I found FMC and had gone to the Come & See, it was clear what God wanted me to do. My goal changed from becoming “like them” to creating a relationship with Jesus. It is from that relationship that I grew to become a missionary. I finished Intake in December 2018 and am now serving in Taiwan as my first mission post.
