Therese Knox
Therese was born and raised Catholic and hails from Anchorage, Alaska. The eldest of four in a military family, she has lived in several states as well as Japan, and was blessed with a solid Catholic education and beautiful communities throughout. God worked on her mind by giving her a love for truth and knowledge, which later inspired her to study at Thomas Aquinas College for a year. He also worked on her heart in youth conferences and retreats, particularly Adoration, opening the door for a real and personal relationship with Him.
Therese has been active in the music ministry at her parish church in Anchorage, being particularly involved in the parish choir, the schola cantorum, and the cantor ministry. After listening to the stories of some FMC missionaries and watching the documentary “Fearless” by Encounter Ministries, she felt a burning desire to hear God’s voice and be His instrument. She looks forward to being a missionary disciple, entering into a deeper relationship with the Lord, and coming alive in the Faith—completely selfless, courageous, and on fire with love for Christ and His people.
