Rachel was born in Canada and raised in Texas. She is the middle child of three siblings. Before joining FMC, she taught and studied ancient literature at a university in the Midwest. Rachel grew up surrounded by people talking about the Great Commission and hoped one day to go into the mission field herself. God confirmed this call on her heart when she went on mission trips in college, but when she became Catholic just before graduation she let go of mission work as something the laity did overseas. When a friend mentioned FMC to her in 2024, she decided to reach out and was thrilled to find other lay Catholics devoted to bringing the Gospel to all nations. During this time, God reminded her that he opens the doors and prepares the way for us to walk in. Deciding to work with FMC fills Rachel with hope about the ways that the Lord is preparing to bring his light and love to the lost.
