Aleksandra Rogulska
Aleksandra was born in the heart of Poland in the city of Lodz. She has four siblings.
All of them share a love for traveling and adventures, as each currently lives and
works in a different European country. A strong seed of faith was planted in her by
her granny at a young age. However, it wasn’t until early 2000s, when she moved to
Ireland that her faith was fanned into flame. She joined some Catholic youth groups
in the Cork city area and nationwide, where she encountered the “living faith”. She
fondly remembers summer faith retreats attended by 1000+ young people when during Eucharistic Adoration you could hear a pin drop because of the silence.
Over the years, her heart was stirred to serve the poor through volunteering with the
local soup kitchens, faith camps for disadvantaged children, as well as assisting
educational projects for marginalized communities in Asia and across Europe.
For the last two years she has been working for a Catholic mission organization in
the south of Ireland which aims at helping young people to “know, love and serve
the Lord”. This is where she met two Family Mission Company missionaries who set
her heart and mind ablaze with the idea of serving as a full-time missionary
overseas. Traveling across the Atlantic to the FMC Discernment Weekend a few
months later confirmed the Lord’s calling and deepened her profound longing to love
and serve the least of His children. She can’t wait to start her missionary formation in
Intake 2025, be the Lord’s hands and feet wherever He might send her and bear
much fruit for the Kingdom.
“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my
disciples. As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love… that
my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” – John 15:8-9, 11
