Applications for Intake 2024 have already closed. We are currently receiving applications for Intake 2025, which begins in September 2025.

Training
In the May prior to their arrival for Intake Training, new missionaries prepare for Intake by fundraising with a coach, and by participating in two to three phone or videos calls each month.
Intake is held at our mission base in Abbeville, Louisiana. It begins in September and continues for six months until the following March, with a break for Christmas.
The goal of Intake is to prepare missionary saints to live and preach the Gospel, serve the poor and make missionary disciples in foreign lands according to our charisms and core values. Intake has an emphasis on intimacy with Jesus, docility to the Holy Spirit, growth in discipleship, communal life, and tools for missionary life and ministry.
Intake includes time for prayer, community and fellowship, worship, talks, workshops, some meals together, small groups, and more. Intakers will put their faith into action through ministry in our local community in Abbeville and through an extended trip to Mexico.
After the completion of Intake, missionaries will be commissioned and sent out to their mission post for their first term of two years.
