Are you interested in learning more about lay Catholic foreign missions and our Family Missions Company community? Come and See!
Our Come & See retreats are offered a few times each year and include engaging talks on Catholic faith and missions from experienced foreign missionaries. You will also get a taste of our communal life and lots of peaceful prayer time with the Lord. It’s a no-pressure opportunity to get to know our community and values as a missionary organization better and spend intentional time with God to ask how He might be uniquely calling you to live out our universal call to mission.
Each retreat is hosted over an extended weekend in Abbeville, Louisiana. They begin on Thursday evening and end on Sunday after lunch. Travel to and from the local Lafayette airport can often be arranged. Both families and individual adults are welcome to attend, and childcare is provided as available.
