Anna was born and raised in St. Johns, Michigan and is the third oldest of six children in her family. She worked at St. Joseph Catholic Church as a parish secretary and was involved in young adult ministry in the Diocese of Lansing before experiencing a call to foreign missions. In July of 2018 she first felt the desire to serve and love Christ in the poor when she went on a mission trip to Mexico City. In January 2019, through prayer and discernment, she heard the Lord’s call to mission work and soon learned about Family Missions Company from a friend. After attending a “Come and See” retreat in June of 2019 she knew that God was calling her to be a missionary with FMC. Anna feels blessed to love and serve Christ in the poor and hopes to strive, with God’s help, to be a light to whomever the Lord places in her path on this journey.
