From the beginning of their married life, Jason and Inge have had the desire to live out a shared mission as a couple and as a family. They began this call by doing Youth Ministry together, and then a few years later as foreign missionaries. They were missionaries in Belize when their first two children were little. After three years as missionaries, they returned home to Minnesota in order to become part of a lay Catholic community, and for Jason to become licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist. After being back in Minnesota for ten years, they once again heard the call to foreign missions! For the past year and a half, Jason and Inge along with their five children, Isaac (15), Gemma (13), Augustine (11), Bridget (7) and Aviana (4) have been embracing the joys and challenges of loving and serving Jesus in the poor, first in the Amazon region of northern Peru, and now more recently, in north central Costa Rica, about ten miles from the Nicaraguan border.
