Stillwater Catholic Retreat Center is located in rural Abbeville, Louisiana. It is a short drive from anywhere in Acadiana, making it convenient for retreat participants and staff, speakers, priests, and other visitors invited to attend special sessions.

Quickly becoming the premier Catholic retreat center in the Diocese of Lafayette, Stillwater offers the perfect place to host your next retreat. A short 30-minute drive south of Lafayette, the campus rests on 30 acres adorned by live oaks and a 3.5-acre lake. Groups will enjoy the newly-renovated spaces and the meals prepared by our award-winning catering service.

By planning your next retreat or day of reflection at Stillwater, you are participating in the life-changing work of Family Missions Company. We believe the Lord is calling many Catholic lay people to serve the poor and proclaim the Gospel in foreign missions, “the greatest and holiest duty of the Church” (Ad Gentes 29). Booking and Pricing

$45 per person/per night for lodging**

+ $11 per person/per meal if opting for catered meals

We desire to be good stewards of the property that God has entrusted to us and would like for this space to be used by as many groups and individuals as possible as they seek to encounter the Lord and retreat unto Him. Please let us know of extraordinary circumstances and/or financial need.

All costs are current as of January 2023.
** This cost includes use of all of the facilities, supplies on site, and post-event cleaning.
