Denver – Become a Christian Missionary
Missionaries come from all walks of life, cultures, and places. They bring a variety of talents and perspectives to missionary work. However, they all have a common desire to share God’s Word. In becoming a Christian missionary, you will serve God by discipling people from diverse backgrounds from all around the world. You will live in unity with others teaching the Gospel of Jesus and uniting God’s family in prayer.
Becoming a Christian missionary, you will be called by God to proclaim the love of Jesus to others and to walk in testimony to what a Godly life is supposed to be. God is calling you to live the Gospel as Jesus did in his life. You will reach hundreds of men, women, and children thirsty for God’s love by sharing God’s heavenly Words in the mission field following the lead of the Holy Spirit. Denver residents, if you hear the call to spread the Good News of the Gospel to the 7 billion people who don’t know Jesus, please call us today for information and prayer.
In becoming a Christian missionary, you seek to be enlightened by God’s Word, be nourished by the Sacraments, to live in communion with God in personal and communal prayer, and live in community and service to God and others. To further hear God’s call on your life, we suggest asking in prayer for discernment and guidance in becoming a Christian missionary.
Denver residents who are interested in becoming a Christian missionary are invited to attend a Come & See program in South Louisiana. This four-day program includes prayer, study, sharing testimonies, and dining with Family Missions Company families. The program allows you time to get to know the FMC family while we get to know more about you and your walk with God. It will also enable you to see what becoming a Christian missionary with FMC is all about.
In joining the FMC family, lay missionaries will undergo a formal training program. Here you will live a simple life in humble housing, break bread with the community, join in communal prayer, and serve one another. This intake period in becoming a Christian missionary includes communal prayer, intense study, work, and sharing in community life with fellow Christians.
