Family Missions Company invites Steubenville area families to learn about becoming a family missionary. Spreading the Good News of Christ through family mission work not only blesses others with helping others know and love Christ, but it also helps families grow in their walk with Him.
Preparing your family for mission work is no easy task, but at Family Missions Company, our intake program helps with that journey. We prepare your family for what life will be like in the mission field so your entire family will be successful. Undergoing the FMC formation program, your family is immersed in FMC mission life by living in modest housing, sharing family meals with others, participating in communal prayer, discipling, and serving one another. This formal three-month intake training is a time of intense study, work, prayer, and community life and is held at our Big Woods mission base in Abbeville, LA, and three weeks at our Mexico Mission Post.
Family missionaries are never without support from FMC. In fact, during your first year, you’ll have monthly one-on-one sessions with an experienced missionary who will journey with you, pray with you, counsel, and encourage you and your family.
Family missionaries find missionary work not just rewarding but eye-opening and educational, especially for children, who will experience life in a whole new way while helping spread the Gospel. They will get an education in different cultures, languages, and histories from different countries. As a family missionary, your children are given a front-row seat to view God’s great power, love, and compassion.
Our caring staff at FMC are here for any Steubenville resident or family that wishes to find out more about the rewarding life of family missionary work.
