Help US bring Clean Water to Two Villages in Mexico

The villages of Luz y Colon and Fortin in the desert of Northern Mexico have over 30 families who have been in desperate need of water for more than 3 months now.  These villages are faithful to prayer and Mass, showing up in large numbers every time they are visited by missionaries or priests.

Family Missions Company has a unique opportunity to be an answer to their prayer, specifically their prayer for water for their homes, fields, and livestock.  The humble farming families of these villages are having to stand by helplessly watching their crops and livestock die for lack of water, while companies selling water from trucks come through the towns distributing water at such exorbitant prices that the residents can’t afford to buy enough water to bathe and wash clothes, much less to water their fields and animals. Many of the families in these ranchos live on about $10 a week, and see no way to pay for a working water well. Other than farming, and raising goats and some cattle, there are no other sources of income available to these hardworking people.

For only $2,500, we can help them to drill a new well that would provide ample clean running water for both communities for years to come.  This water could save their livelihoods, improve their health, and allow them to stay on the land that in most cases their families have been farming for generations.  Please give generously!
