Justice Delivered! Diony & Hana Part 2
“It is by what they have done for the poor that Jesus Christ will recognize his chosen ones.”
+ Catechism of the Catholic Church, 2443 +
Last time we blogged about our friends Diony and Hana, they were living a life full of injustices. (Read Part 1 of Diony & Hana’s story here) Today, I am happy to report that because of your prayers and help they are now living a life that has been radically transformed! We praise and thank the Lord for all the hearts He has touched and for those of you who have become instruments of God’s goodness – providing a new, fair life for our friends. Salamat sa DIOS! Thanks be to GOD!
Before: Diony & Hana were living in a small crawlspace under a house
After: Thanks to the Lord’s providence and your generosity, Diony & Hana now have a clean, safe home of their own!

On September 29, Diony, Hana and their little baby Yohan were able to move into their brand new home. Yes! Praise the Lord – they are out of that horrible place in which they lived. And because of all your generosity and God’s providence, we were able to build them a new home complete with furniture, a bed, table and chairs, and even groceries to help them start their new life. Now they have a much safer place to live with a clean bathroom, their own sink, a small kitchen, accessible clean water, and solar electricity to give them light at night.
We’re also happy to report that Yohan, their one-year-old baby, has been seen by a pediatrician. She had a high infection in her blood that caused frequent illnesses, caused her to be underweight and has caused other various medical complications. But praise God, she is now much better, and is taking medicine and vitamins. Her new home also provides ample space for her as she learns to walk! We have also been able to give Hana some post-natal vitamins, and have even been able to help Diony find a job.

There is a lot of need everywhere. Diony and Hana’s story is such an incredible example that if we all work together and help each other, one family or person at a time, then we can really make a difference and ultimately glorify our Lord!
Thank you again to all our mission partners! You’re the reason why we’re still in the field serving our Lord and our brothers and sisters. Salamat sa Dios!
