Peacemaking With A Joyful Heart

Hi. My name is Kolbe. I served in Perú for 2 and a half years and now I will be going to Honduras in late May.
I’ve always liked fighting and battling, but I strive to be more like Jesus in ways like being a peacemaker and saying things like “be kind” or, “don’t fight.”
In Perú kids are sadly really mean and fight a lot because their parents don’t spend enough time with them. As I strive to be more like Jesus I try to tell kids about the loving God, who loves us so dearly and wants us to stop sinning. And crazily about 6 billion people STILL after all our efforts, don’t know that.
When I see poor people on the streets, I see kind joy in them. I desire that joy. And I found it…in missions.
